Andrea Railster Uliana started his musical travels pretty early in his life, buying a computer and starting to use it as a musical instrument, pulling out sounds that were impatient to be reshaped as music. He starts as beatmaker in a local hip hop band, but soon the usual boom and cha routine became what it actually is – a routine. So he left the band and tried to break the mold to travel farther. In 2009 he released for ReddArmy his first solo record, “Patchwork Anthems”, getting a neat national exposure not only on web media but also on Italy’s biggest musical printed magazines. The record featured collaborations with artists from around the globe, and the same urgence to cross the alps can be seen in further releases, such as the podcast for the new york-based Grungecake Magazine is, which featured him as “artist of the month” in october 2009. Italy’s biggest musical portal Rockit asked him for an exclusive podcast as well, and he starts to collaborate with many italian alternative producers such as Costa, Morpheground, Grillo and Aeed. His remixing skills are hired from very popular hip hop bands such as Cor Veleno (possibly one of the most important italian hip hop bands) and Smania Uagliuns. His latest releases are featured in podcasts such as the one in mondayjazz.com or the one from Dr.Kwest from belgium. He is collaborating also with Error Broadcast label.
